Spironolactone

A potassium-sparing diuretic drug, which is given to treat heart failure. Spironolactone may cause numbness, weakness, and nausea. Less common side effects include diarrhoea, lethargy, impotence, rash, and irregular menstruation. High doses may cause abnormal breast enlargement in men.
