Sinus bradycardia

A slow, but regular heart-rate (less than 60 beats per minute) caused by reduced electrical activity in the sinoatrial node. Sinus bradycardia is normal in athletes, but in others it may be caused by hypothyroidism, a myocardial infarction, or by drugs such as beta-blockers or digoxin.
