A vasodilator drug used to treat hypertension, heart failure, and Raynaud’s disease. Prazosin is also used to treat urinary symptoms resulting from an enlarged prostate gland (see prostate, enlarged). Side effects include dizziness and fainting, nausea, headache, and dry mouth.
