A type of brain tumour arising from the supporting connective tissue, (glial cells), in the brain. Types of glioma include astrocytoma, glioblastoma multiforme, ependymoma, medulloblastoma, and oligodendroglioma. Symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment are as for other types of brain tumour.
